Homes in the north-east region of England have been damaged due to floodings.  The floods have made some buildings unsafe and uninhabitable due to foundations being washed away.  There have been 27 flood warnings in place, with 25 of them being in the north-east region.  The rivers are excessively high, but are expected to settle down and reduce the warnings.  There are two reported deaths treated as tragic accidents as the couple was swept by the fast moving river.
